🚔 Chinatown Day of Action Results🚔

On Wednesday 23 September 2026, officers from the Town Hall C Relief Neighbourhood Team carried out a dedicated Day of Action in Chinatown, focusing on issues identified as priorities by the local community.

The operation targeted anti-social behaviour (ASB), theft from person, theft of motor vehicles and drug-related offences, with officers conducting plain clothes foot patrols, engaging with local businesses and residents, and acting on intelligence to disrupt criminal activity in the area.

Throughout the day, officers carried out over 20 stop searches, resulting in 6 positive outcomes ✅, including the seizure of suspected drugs and other items linked to criminality. The operation also led to 2 arrests 🚨 for offences connected to the day's policing priorities.

These enforcement activities form part of our ongoing commitment to making Chinatown a safer place for residents, workers and visitors.
